ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (WHERE APPLICABLE)

If your vehicle uses an anti-pinch function with one-touch window operation, the motor may require a reset after installation.

• Install the regulator and motor in the door before testing.
• Connect to the one-touch window switch and raise the window fully.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform a reset.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass fully to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the glass fully to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window to the top and check it no longer drops.

Repeat the reset steps if the window still drops after reaching the top.
