ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (IF APPLICABLE)

Some electric window motors are equipped with an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function. Incorrect testing or installation may require the function to be reset.

• Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to confirm the window travels fully to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset steps below.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the glass moves up slightly to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully to the top and check it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
