ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (IF APPLICABLE)

If the window regulator motor is equipped with an anti-pinch function, follow the steps below after installation. Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may require resetting.

• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull up the switch to raise the window fully and check operation.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it still drops, repeat the steps until correct operation is achieved.
