ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

This regulator motor may be equipped with an anti-pinch safety function. Do not operate or test the motor before it is fully installed in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch function may need to be reset.

• Install the regulator and motor in the door and connect to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to confirm the window travels fully up and down.
• If the window goes to the top and then drops down, reset the anti-pinch function as outlined below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top without dropping. If it drops again, repeat the above steps until successful.
