INSTALLATION & ANTI-PINCH NOTE

Some vehicles use window motors with an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function. Incorrect testing or installation may cause this function to fail and require resetting.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Install the motor on the regulator and connect to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch to raise the window; it should travel fully to the top position.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, an anti-pinch reset is required.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window back to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it drops again, repeat the procedure until successful.
