ANTI-PINCH MOTOR RESET INFORMATION

If your vehicle uses a window motor with an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, the motor must be correctly set after installation to ensure proper operation.

• Do not test the motor before it is fully installed in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch function may fail.
• Install the motor on the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up to raise the window. If the window goes up and stays at the top, the setting is correct.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, follow the reset steps below.

Anti-pinch reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves up slightly to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to raise the window fully to the top and check that it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until it operates correctly.
