ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION NOTICE (FOR MOTORS)

If your vehicle uses a window motor with an anti-pinch feature, the motor must be correctly initialised after installation. Do not operate or test the motor before it is fitted to the door, as this can cause the anti-pinch function to fail and require resetting.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: With the motor and regulator installed, pull the window switch briefly so the glass moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds when the window is fully closed.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds when the window is fully open.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and check that it no longer drops after reaching the closed position.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the anti-pinch function is successfully reset.
