ANTI-PINCH MOTOR FUNCTION NOTE

This regulator is suitable for use with electric window motors that may include an anti-pinch (one-touch) function. If your vehicle uses an anti-pinch motor, follow the reset procedure after installation if the window does not operate correctly.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Install the motor on the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the window up to the top. If the glass drops after reaching the top, perform the reset steps below.

Reset steps:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top without dropping. If it still drops, repeat the steps until successful.
