Anti-Pinch Function Setup
If your vehicle uses an anti-pinch function with one-touch window operation, follow these guidelines after installation:
- Do not power-test the motor before it is fully installed in the door.
- Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
- Pull the switch up to raise the window. If it goes up fully and stays up, the setting is correct.
- If the window drops after reaching the top, perform a reset as described below.
Anti-Pinch Reset Steps
- Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
- Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
- Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
- Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
- Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and check that it no longer drops.
If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until the function is correctly set.
