INSTALLATION & ANTI-PINCH RESET

Some electric window motors are equipped with an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function. Incorrect testing or installation may cause this function to fail and require resetting.

• Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to confirm the window travels fully to the top.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure.

Anti-pinch reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the function is correctly set.
