ANTI-PINCH MOTOR RESET NOTE

For window regulator motors equipped with an anti-pinch function, the motor must be set correctly after installation. Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch function may fail and require resetting.

• Motors are typically pre-set and tested before delivery.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• If the window goes up fully and stays at the top, the setting is correct.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and check that it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
