ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION – SETUP & RESET

Some electric window motors are equipped with an anti-pinch safety function. Incorrect testing or installation can cause this function to fail and require resetting.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Install the regulator and motor, then connect to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up to close the window and confirm full travel to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top and does not drop. If it still drops, repeat the steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
