ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (IF APPLICABLE)

Some electric window motors include an anti-pinch safety function. Incorrect testing before installation can cause this function to fail and require resetting.

• Do not power-test the motor before fitting it to the door.
• Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull up the switch to raise the window; it should travel fully to the top.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, reset the anti-pinch function.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the function is correctly set.
