ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (IF APPLICABLE)

Some electric window motors use an anti-pinch safety function. If the window drops after reaching the top, the motor may require resetting.

• Install the regulator and motor in the door before testing.
• Connect to the one-touch window switch and operate the window fully up.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset steps below.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch so the window moves fully up again.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it still drops, repeat the steps.
