ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (IF APPLICABLE)

If the vehicle uses an anti-pinch one-touch window system, the motor may require resetting after installation.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may lose its setting.
• Install the regulator and motor, connect to the one-touch window switch, and check that the window travels fully up.
• If the window drops slightly after reaching the top, perform a reset.

Reset procedure (general guide):

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the glass moves up slightly to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly so the glass moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Operate the one-touch up function and confirm the window reaches the top and stays in position.

If the glass still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly learned.
