INSTALLATION & ANTI-PINCH RESET (MOTOR NOT INCLUDED)

This regulator is designed for use with an electric motor that may feature an anti-pinch safety function. If your existing motor has an anti-pinch feature, it may require resetting after installation of the regulator.

• Install the regulator and motor in the door before testing.
• Connect the one-touch window switch and operate the window fully up.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform an anti-pinch reset.

Typical anti-pinch reset steps (check vehicle-specific procedure):

• Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass fully to the top.
• Hold the switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Press the switch briefly to move the glass fully to the bottom.
• Hold the switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Pull the switch again to move the glass to the top and verify operation.

Repeat the reset procedure if the window still drops after reaching the top. Always follow any vehicle-specific service information where available.
