ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION NOTE

If used with a window motor that has an anti-pinch function, correct setup and resetting are essential for proper one-touch operation.

RESET PROCEDURE FOR ANTI-PINCH MOTORS

• Install the motor on the regulator and connect to the one-touch window switch before testing.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, follow the reset steps below and repeat if necessary.

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and check that it no longer drops.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top without automatically lowering.
