Anti-Pinch Function Notice

For vehicles equipped with a window motor that has an anti-pinch function, correct setup is essential. Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door or the anti-pinch function may fail and require resetting.

• Install the motor on the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up to raise the window and check operation.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, reset the anti-pinch function as outlined below.

Anti-Pinch Reset Procedure

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and check that it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the steps above until the reset is successful.
