ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (MOTOR UNITS)

If used with a window motor featuring anti-pinch and one-touch function, the motor may require reset after installation. Do not test the motor before it is mounted in the door or the anti-pinch calibration may fail.

• Install the motor on the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch to raise the window fully. If the window drops after reaching the top, perform a reset.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window to the top again and check that it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
