ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (IF APPLICABLE)

This regulator may be used with motors featuring an anti-pinch safety function. If the window drops after reaching the top, the motor may require resetting.

• Install the motor in the door before testing. Testing out of the door can cause anti-pinch failure.
• Connect the motor to the one-touch window switch.
• If the window goes fully up and stays at the top, no reset is needed.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, follow the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top and check that it no longer drops.

If the window still goes down after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the reset is successful.
