ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

This motor may be equipped with an anti-pinch function. Incorrect testing before installation can cause the feature to malfunction. Install the regulator and motor in the door before operating the window.

• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Raise the window using the switch and check that it travels fully to the top.
• If the window drops slightly after reaching the top, reset of the anti-pinch function is required.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves up slightly to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Use the one-touch up function to raise the window fully to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
