ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (WHERE APPLICABLE)

For window regulators with motors that include an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, the motor must be initialised after installation. Do not power-test the motor before it is fitted to the door, or the anti-pinch function may require resetting.

• Install the regulator and motor in the door and connect to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to raise the window fully. If the glass drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

Anti-pinch reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window fully to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the switch in the "up" position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window fully to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the switch in the "down" position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Use the one-touch function to raise the window to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly initialised.
