ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

Some electric window motors use an anti-pinch safety function. Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, otherwise the function may require resetting.

RESET PROCEDURE (IF REQUIRED)

• Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• If the window reaches the top then drops down, perform the reset steps below.

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window fully to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window fully to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until the anti-pinch function is correctly learned.
