Anti-Pinch Function Setup

This motor includes an anti-pinch safety function. Incorrect testing before installation can cause malfunction. Follow these instructions after installation:

• Do not power up or test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to raise the window. If it runs smoothly to the top and stays up, setup is correct.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, carry out the reset procedure below.

Anti-Pinch Reset Procedure

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds with the glass at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds with the glass at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and check it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
