Installation & Anti-Pinch Reset

If your electric motor has an anti-pinch function, follow these guidelines when installing it onto the regulator:

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may require resetting.
• Install the motor on the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to ensure the window travels fully up and down without reversing unexpectedly.

Anti-pinch reset procedure (if the window drops after reaching the top):

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and check that it no longer drops.

Repeat the above steps if the window still drops after reaching the top.
