ANTI-PINCH MOTOR RESET NOTE

If your vehicle uses a motor with an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, the motor may require resetting after installation of the regulator.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Install the motor to the regulator and fit the assembly in the door before testing.
• Connect the one-touch window switch and raise the window fully.
• If the window drops slightly after reaching the top, carry out the reset steps below.

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves up slightly to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top.

The reset is complete if the window no longer drops after reaching the top. If it still drops, repeat the procedure.
