INSTALLATION & ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION NOTE

For vehicles equipped with a window regulator motor that has an anti-pinch function, the motor must be correctly set up after installation to ensure proper one-touch operation.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch function may fail and require reset.
• Install the motor, connect it to the one-touch window switch, then pull the switch up to check the window travels fully to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window back up to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
