ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

If your vehicle uses an anti-pinch (one-touch) window function, do not test the motor before installing it in the door, as this may require a reset. The motors are pre-tested, but if the window drops after reaching the top, follow the reset steps below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET STEPS

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds when the window is at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top and does not drop. If it still drops, repeat the steps until successful.
