ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

This motor may be used with window regulators that feature an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch function may fail and require resetting.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull up the switch; the window should travel fully to the top. If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it drops again, repeat the steps until successful.
