ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

For window regulators with anti-pinch motors, the motor must be set up correctly after installation.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door or the anti-pinch function may fail.
• Motors are pre-tested and set before dispatch.
• Install the motor, connect the one-touch window switch and pull the switch up. The window should rise fully.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully and check that it no longer drops at the top.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until successful.
