ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

Some electric window motors feature an anti-pinch safety function that must be correctly initialised after installation.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail and require resetting.
• Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch before operation.
• Pull the switch up to raise the window. If it reaches the top and then drops slightly, the anti-pinch function must be reset.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and check it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function operates correctly.
