Anti-Pinch Function Setup

Some electric window motors include an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function. Do not power-test the motor before installing it in the door, as this can affect calibration of the one-touch feature.

Reset Procedure for One-Touch / Anti-Pinch

• Step 1: Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Step 2: Pull the window switch briefly so the glass moves up slightly to the top position.
• Step 3: Hold the one-touch switch in the UP position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 4: Press the switch briefly so the glass moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 5: Hold the one-touch switch in the DOWN position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 6: Pull the one-touch switch again to move the window fully up and confirm it does not drop back down.

If the window drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly calibrated.
