Anti-Pinch Function Setup (Where Applicable)

Some electric window motors are equipped with an anti-pinch safety function. Incorrect handling before installation can cause this function to fail and require resetting.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up: if the window goes fully up and stays at the top, setup is correct.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure.

Anti-Pinch Reset Procedure

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up again.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it drops again, repeat the steps until the function is correctly set.
