ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (WHERE APPLICABLE)

If used with a window regulator motor that has an anti-pinch function, the motor may require resetting after installation. Do not operate or test the motor before it is installed in the door.

• Install the motor and connect it with the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up; the window should travel fully to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, carry out the reset procedure below.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it still drops, repeat the steps until successful.
