INSTALLATION & ANTI-PINCH RESET

Some vehicles use window regulators with an anti-pinch function. Incorrect handling can cause the window to drop after reaching the top position.

• Do not test the motor before it is fully installed in the door.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up to confirm the window travels fully to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is set correctly.
