Skoda Octavia 1U Headlight Assembly 1U1941017E / 1U1941018E

Product overview

A new headlight assembly referenced to OE-reference numbers 1U1941017E and 1U1941017P (left) and 1U1941018E and 1U1941018P (right). The part listing describes it as a headlight for the Skoda Octavia, and the 1U1 part number prefix corresponds to the first-generation Octavia. It is designed to replace a lamp with a faded, cracked or misted lens, broken adjusters or damaged mounting points.

Vehicle compatibility

The part listing names the Skoda Octavia, and the part numbers belong to the Octavia 1U family. However, the single fitment row provided lists the Volkswagen Caddy III Box (2004–2015), which uses a different headlight. Because of this conflict, the fitment data cannot be relied on, and the exact years have not been confirmed. Left and right numbers are both quoted, so specify which side you need. Australian and New Zealand vehicles also require headlights with a right-hand-drive beam pattern. Please confirm by OE-reference number or VIN before ordering.

Key features

• LED headlamp, as listed
• Cool white light colour, 6000K
• Listing ratings of 70 W and 4000 lumens
• 12 V vehicle system
• New condition

Technical specifications

Installation requirements

On the first-generation Octavia the headlight is generally removed from the front after taking out the grille and loosening the bumper. Connect the wiring, test each function and have the beam aligned with proper equipment once fitted. Professional installation is recommended, particularly where the new lamp's wiring differs from the original. Ensure the lamp meets New Zealand Warrant of Fitness lighting requirements.

Fitment checks before ordering

Pre-facelift and facelift Octavia models use different headlights. Please send your VIN or existing headlight number so we can confirm the correct version and side before you order. If your current lamp has a levelling motor, let us know so we can check compatibility.

Package inclusions
