ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION & RESET

This motor may be equipped with an anti-pinch safety function. Do not power-test the motor before installation, as this can affect the anti-pinch calibration.

• Install the regulator and motor to the tailgate and connect to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to raise the window fully. If the glass drops after reaching the top, the anti-pinch function must be reset.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top end position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom end position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window to the top again.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it drops again, repeat the steps until successful.
