ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION NOTE (FOR MOTORS)

If your vehicle uses a window motor with an anti-pinch function, the motor may require a reset after installation. Do not operate or test the motor before it is correctly fitted, or the anti-pinch function may fail and need reprogramming.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE (GENERAL GUIDELINE)

• Step 1: With the motor and regulator installed, pull the window switch briefly to move the window fully to the top stop.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the window fully to the bottom stop.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully. If it remains at the top without dropping, the reset is complete. If it drops, repeat the steps.
