Product Description
Description:
The throttle body in a car is responsible for regulating the engine's air intake volume, functioning much like a gatekeeper, adjusting airflow through the opening and closing of a butterfly valve. Drivers use this mechanism to control both the vehicle's speed and power output. During acceleration, the valve opens wider to increase airflow and thus boost power, whereas during deceleration or when idling, it closes to limit airflow, maintaining a stable idle and conserving fuel. Modern throttles typically employ electronic control to achieve precise responsiveness and efficient combustion.

Dismounting throttle control unit
Replace the throttle control unit
Replace the engine
Replace the engine control unit
2.Basic setting conditions
Shut off all the electric application
Temperature of cooling fluid must be over 80℃
Battery voltage over 11V
Gearbox should be at P level
Accelerator pedal can't be pressed during the basic setting process
3.Basic setting method and process
Turn the key to ON (power mode, no start), enter engine system
Check fault code→ Clear fault code
Choose relevant vehicle while choose “ common mode”-“fast dataflow diagnostic mode”-“engine system”, choose “System basic adjustment function” and input adjustment group number: different vehicle, different channel number.
Match Manually
Three different methods to initialize for different vehicles
1.The first method : Turn the key to ON ( power mode, no start), press the accelerator to the bottom after 20 seconds, keep about 10 seconds, release accelerator, turn the key to off and pull out, initialize finished.
2.The second method :Turn the key to ON ( power mode, no start) and keep for 30 seconds, then turn the key to off and pull out. What you should pay attention is: you should wait for a period before you start after you tried any one of the method, usually it is 15-20 seconds, then start. Check if the fuel is normal, the engine fault light is off. If not succeed the first time, then try again until it succeed. Normally it will succeed the first time, at most two times. But the restoring method is different with different vehicle.
3.The Third method: Cut off the power of the battery's N pole, and wait for 10 seconds until ECU is 100% power off. Then connect to N pole again (it is normal if have some spark) to restore. Match will be finished.

Pull out the rubber hose connected with the throttle body, e.x, water pipe, vacuum tube
5.Installation:
a. Check the clean of the flange, replace to new seal ring and gasket
b. Install the throttle body with cross method to fix the screw, tightening torque is 8-10Nm
c. Connect the plug, intake manifold, water pipe, vacuum tube ect.
6.Installation check and confirmation:
a.Check the connection between flange, relevant pipes and plug, make sure the seal and connection is strong.
b.Turn the key to the second level and keep about 30 seconds, to make sure the throttle body accomplish the self-learning
