INSTALLATION NOTES

• Professional installation is strongly recommended.
• Install on the intake manifold using a new seal ring and gasket.
• Tighten mounting bolts evenly in a cross pattern to 8–10 Nm.
• Reconnect all electrical plugs, intake ducts, coolant hoses, and vacuum lines securely.
• After installation, check for coolant or vacuum leaks and verify all connections.

IDLE RELEARN / SELF-ADAPTION

After replacing or cleaning the throttle body, an idle relearn (throttle self-adaption) procedure is required. Follow the latest instructions in the vehicle service manual or approved diagnostic equipment procedures.

• Ensure all electrical accessories are off.
• Coolant temperature must be at operating temperature (approx. >80°C).
• Battery voltage should be above 11 V.
• Transmission selector in Park (P).
• Do not press the accelerator pedal during automatic basic setting unless specified.

Some vehicles may allow manual throttle initialization via key-on/key-off and accelerator pedal procedures; refer to the specific service information for your vehicle.

• Allow engine to cool before disconnecting any coolant hoses.
• Do not damage the intake manifold flange surface.
• Protect the electrical connector from moisture and contaminants.
• Do not use throttle bodies that have been dropped or show impact damage.
