INSTALLATION & IDLE RELEARN

After replacing or cleaning the throttle body, an idle relearn (self-adaptation) procedure is required. Refer to the latest instructions in the official vehicle service manual or technical service documentation specific to your vehicle.

Installation and relearn should be carried out by a qualified automotive technician with appropriate diagnostic equipment.

BASIC INSTALLATION NOTES

• Mounting position: intake manifold
• Inspect and clean the intake manifold flange before installation
• Always use a new seal ring and gasket
• Tighten mounting bolts in a cross pattern to 8–10 Nm (if applicable to your vehicle)
• Reconnect all electrical connectors, coolant hoses and vacuum lines securely

After installation, turn the ignition to the ON position (engine off) to allow the throttle body to perform a self-learning cycle, then start the engine and check for leaks, abnormal idle or warning lights.
