INSTALLATION & IDLE RELEARN

Installation should be carried out by a qualified technician. An idle relearn or throttle adaptation procedure is required after replacing or cleaning the throttle body. Always follow the latest instructions provided in the factory vehicle service manual or official technical documentation.

BASIC INSTALLATION GUIDELINES

• Install on the intake manifold using a new seal ring and/or gasket
• Tighten mounting bolts in a cross pattern to the specified torque (8–10 Nm)
• Reconnect all electrical connectors and hoses (intake duct, coolant hoses, vacuum lines as applicable)
• Ensure flange surfaces are clean and undamaged before fitting
• After installation, switch ignition ON (engine OFF) for the required period to allow throttle self-learning, then start and let the engine idle for several minutes
• Check for coolant, air or vacuum leaks and verify that no engine warning lights remain on

Do not install a throttle body that shows signs of impact damage. Avoid contaminating the throttle bore or electrical connector with dirt, moisture, or cleaning agents not specified by the manufacturer.
