INSTALLATION NOTES

• Compare all new components with removed parts before installation.
• After assembling chains, fully release timing tensioners; ensure mechanisms extend completely.
• Rotate the engine by hand clockwise for one full revolution to verify correct timing and tension.
• Vehicles near timing system changeover years should be visually checked under the cam cover.
• If replacing the lower timing guide, replace the oil pump at the same time where applicable.
