Toyota Camry / Corolla / Highlander / Crown / Mark X Fuel Pump 77020-06221 77020-06220

Product overview

This is a new replacement fuel pump referenced to Toyota OE numbers 77020-06221 and 77020-06220. The listing shows it against several Toyota models, including the Camry, Corolla, Highlander, Fortuner, Crown and Mark X. It is suited to repairs where the existing pump no longer supplies adequate fuel pressure.

An in-tank fuel pump delivers petrol from the tank to the engine at the pressure the injection system expects. Typical signs of a worn pump include a whining noise, extended cranking, hesitation when accelerating and the engine cutting out when warm.

Vehicle compatibility

The listing names the following models, with no year, chassis code or engine data:

• Toyota Camry, Corolla, Highlander, Fortuner
• Toyota Crown and Mark X
• Toyota Verso, Gaia, Yaris, Supra and Hiace (from listing attributes)

Because this list is broad and lacks detail, fitment is unverified. Toyota fuel pumps vary considerably between generations, engines and markets, including Japanese-import models common in Australia and New Zealand.

Key features

• Replacement pump referenced to 7702006221 and 7702006220
• New, unused condition

• Practical stock item for workshops servicing Toyota vehicles

Technical specifications

Installation requirements

We recommend professional installation. Relieve fuel pressure, disconnect the battery and ensure good ventilation before beginning. Keep heat and sparks away from the work area. Replace the tank gasket if it is worn, secure all fittings and electrical plugs, and check for leaks before driving.

It is worth confirming that the fuse, relay and wiring are in good order before replacing the pump, as these can produce similar faults.

Fitment checks before ordering

Please do not order on model name alone. Match the Toyota part number on your existing pump to 77020-06221 or 77020-06220 and confirm with your VIN or chassis number before purchase. We are happy to help check.
