Volkswagen Passat 3B3 / 3B6 2000–2005 Headlight Assembly 3B0941015AK

Product overview

This replacement headlight assembly is listed for the Volkswagen Passat sedan (3B3) and Passat Variant wagon (3B6) from 2000 to 2005. It is referenced to OE numbers 3B0 941 015 AK, 3B0 941 015 AN, 3B0 941 016 AK and 3B0 941 016 AN. After two decades on the road, many of these headlights have yellowed lenses, tired reflectors and weak output, so a new unit can noticeably improve night driving.

Vehicle compatibility

Listed fitment data lists the Volkswagen Passat (3B3) and Passat Variant (3B6), both 2000–2005. The listing also tags the part as universal, but headlights are vehicle-specific, so please treat the fitment rows as the guide. Four OE numbers are given, which typically cover left and right sides and different versions; check the number on the back of your existing headlight before ordering.

Technical specifications

Installation requirements

On this Passat, the headlight is generally removed after taking out the grille and undoing the mounting bolts. Transfer or fit bulbs as needed, reconnect the plug and check that any headlight levelling works. Have the beam aim adjusted after fitting. Installation by a qualified technician or auto electrician is recommended.

Fitment checks before ordering

Australian and NZ vehicles need a headlight with a beam pattern for left-hand traffic to pass a roadworthy or WOF inspection. Confirm the side, beam pattern and OE number by VIN before ordering.

Package inclusions

1 x headlight assembly for the selected option. Bulbs and fixings are not included unless stated.
