Installation requirements
Hub bearings are safety-related components, and professional installation is recommended. Support the vehicle securely, remove the brake caliper and disc without straining the brake hose, and clean the hub mounting faces. Use new bolts where specified and torque everything to the manufacturer's figures. Check that the ABS warning light is off after a short drive.
Fitment checks before ordering
3QF598611 is generally associated with rear hub applications, while a front option is also offered. Please confirm which part is supplied for each option, match the OE number on your existing hub, and confirm by VIN before ordering. Contact us with your VIN for help confirming the correct hub.
Hub bearings that are left too long can damage ABS sensors and affect braking stability, so early replacement is worthwhile.
