VW Golf 2015–2016 Front Bumper Grille Chrome/Black 5G0853651

Product overview

Give your Volkswagen Golf a sharp front-end finish with this replacement front bumper grille. It is referenced to OE numbers 5G0 853 651, 5GG 853 651 and 5GM 853 651 and listed for Golf models from 2015–2016. The ABS grille is suited to replacing a cracked, chipped or faded original.

The front grille also protects the radiator and air conditioning condenser from larger road debris while allowing airflow through the front of the car. Replacing a broken grille helps keep these cooling components protected and restores a clean, even appearance to the front bumper.

Vehicle compatibility

The listed fitment data lists the Volkswagen Golf for 2015–2016. Engine and trim variants were not specified, and Golf grilles differ between standard, GTI and R models, so the trim-specific OE number is important. Despite the listing's universal attribute, this is a model-specific part. Please confirm by OE number or VIN before ordering.

Key features

• New replacement grille for repair or replacement use
• Durable ABS plastic construction
• Chrome, black and silver finish as listed
• Vehicle-specific shape for the VW Golf

Technical specifications

Installation requirements

The grille is usually secured with clips and screws, and some vehicles need the front bumper cover partly removed for access. Take care not to damage clips, paintwork or any front-mounted sensors or cameras. Many owners can fit a grille at home with basic tools, but a panel shop can assist if your vehicle has driver-assistance sensors that require recalibration.

Fitment checks before ordering

Grille openings for radar sensors, parking cameras and badges vary by trim level. Check that the grille in the photos matches your vehicle and its OE number, and contact us with your VIN before ordering if you have any doubt about compatibility.

Package inclusions
