VW Golf 8 (Mk8) 2020– 6000K LED Headlight Assembly 5HG941006

Product overview

This LED headlight assembly is listed for the Volkswagen Golf 8 (Mk8) from 2020 and referenced to OE number 5HG 941 006. It is described as a plug-and-play replacement with a 6000 K cool white output, suitable for replacing a headlamp damaged in a collision or affected by internal faults.

Modern LED headlamps are sealed units, so a cracked lens or failed module generally means replacing the whole assembly. A new unit restores the beam pattern, daytime look and safety of the vehicle at night.

The part listing names the Volkswagen Golf 8 Mk8 from 2020. The fitment table lists the FAW-Volkswagen Golf VII (BN1, BN2, C91) from 2019, which is a China-market designation. Please confirm by OE number or VIN, as Golf 8 headlamps vary by trim and market.

Installation requirements

Professional fitting is recommended for this lamp. Access requires removal of part of the front bumper. Golf 8 lighting is integrated with the vehicle electronics, so coding or adaptation with a suitable diagnostic tool may be needed. Test every function and set the beam aim before use.

Fitment checks before ordering

Golf 8 models were produced with basic LED, LED Plus and IQ.Light matrix headlamps, which are not interchangeable. Check which type your car has, confirm the side, and verify by VIN before purchase. Send a photo of your current lamp label to help us check.
