VW Golf Mk7.5 GTI R 2017–2020 Full LED Headlight 5GG941035 / 5GG941036

Product overview

A full LED replacement headlight unit for the Volkswagen Golf Mk7.5, including GTI and R variants, referenced to OE numbers 5GG 941 035 (front left) and 5GG 941 036 (front right). Headlights on modern hatchbacks are often replaced after minor front-end impacts, cracked lenses, internal condensation or LED module failures. This assembly provides low beam, high beam, daytime running light and dynamic turn signal functions in one housing.

Vehicle compatibility

The listing attributes specify Volkswagen Golf Mk7.5 / GTI / R, 2017–2020. The structured fitment data, however, lists four Volkswagen Golf entries dated 2010–2013. These earlier dates correspond to a different Golf generation, so please use the Mk7.5 information as a guide and confirm carefully before ordering.

Technical specifications

Installation requirements

Headlight replacement on the Golf usually requires removal of the front bumper cover to reach the mounting bolts. Because LED headlights connect to the vehicle's lighting control system, installation by a qualified technician is recommended. Headlight aim must be checked and adjusted after fitting, and some vehicles may need coding before every function works correctly.

Fitment checks before ordering

LED headlights differ between halogen-equipped, standard LED and premium LED Golf variants, and between left-hand and right-hand traffic markets. Check 5GG 941 035 / 036 against your existing unit and confirm with your VIN before purchase.

Package inclusions

1 x headlight assembly for the position selected, as pictured. Bulbs are integrated LED; mounting hardware and control modules are not included unless stated.
