VW Golf Mk8 / e-Golf LED Headlight Assembly 6000K 5HG941006

Product overview

This LED headlight assembly is a replacement lamp referenced to OE number 5HG 941 006. The part listing describes it as suitable for the Volkswagen Golf 8 (Mk8) from 2020 with plug-and-play connection, while the fitment data lists the FAW-built VW e-Golf from 2019. With a cool white 6000K output and a listed 8000 lumens, it is aimed at replacing a damaged or failed headlight.

Vehicle compatibility

The listed fitment data lists the VW (FAW) e-Golf from 2019 onward, and the part listing references the Golf 8 / Mk8 from 2020. These descriptions do not fully align, and FAW-built vehicles are mainly Chinese-market models whose lighting may differ from Golfs sold in Australia and New Zealand. The listing's universal attribute does not apply; this is a model-specific lamp. Please confirm by OE number or VIN before ordering.

A clear, bright headlight improves night-time visibility on unlit rural roads and gives the front of the car a fresher look than a weathered original.

Technical specifications

Installation requirements

Although described as plug and play, headlight replacement still involves removing the front bumper on most Golf models and connecting to the vehicle lighting system. Professional installation is recommended, and headlight aim should be checked and adjusted after fitting.

Fitment checks before ordering

Headlights are side-specific and beam patterns differ for left-hand traffic. Check the side, beam pattern and compliance requirements for your vehicle, and contact us with your VIN before ordering if you are unsure.

Package inclusions
